# Part-Time Technical Architect / CTO · K38 Research

## About Us
K38 Research is an AI content + hardware brand incubator based in Singapore.
Our product lines: K38 Compass (AI curation engine), K38 Field Pack (tactical computer backpack), Diamond Thermal Solutions division.
Our entire dev team consists of LLM Agents (Claude Code + Codex + Gemini + custom agent framework) — we need a seasoned human architect to keep us on track.
## What You'll Do
1. **Architecture planning** — Website, API, and deployment architecture decisions
2. **Code review** — Review code generated by LLMs for correctness, security, and maintainability
3. **Bug hunting** — Root cause analysis when things break (we have servers in Singapore)
4. **Development workflow** — Set standards, break down modules, define acceptance criteria
5. **Technical decisions** — Framework selection, deployment strategy, quality assurance
## Requirements
- **Strong proficiency** in Python / Node.js / Nginx / SQLite
- **Deep understanding** of LLM-generated code pitfalls (hallucination, context window limits, architectural blind spots)
- **3+ years** full-stack experience
- Remote work experience, comfortable with async communication (we use WeChat/Slack)
- Located in or near **Singapore/Asia timezone** preferred (UTC+8)
## Compensation & Commitment
- **10-15 hours/week**, fully remote
- **$30-50/hour** (based on experience)
- Long-term engagement, not a one-off project
- 1-month trial period for mutual evaluation

# Hiring: Hardware Product Manager (Industrial Design) · K38 Research

## About Us
K38 Research is an AI content + hardware brand incubator based in Singapore.
Current core hardware projects: K99 Eclipse 328 (tri-fold plant grow light module), K38 Field Pack (tactical computer backpack / diamond thermal baseplate).
## What You'll Do
Own product definition and industrial design for the K99 hardware line:
1. **Product definition** — From requirements to launch: specs, appearance, structure
2. **Industrial design** — Form, material selection, thermal structure, ergonomics
3. **Supply chain** — Coordinate with 3D printing factories (Boli etc.), tooling/mold shops, assembly plants
4. **Product iteration** — Full loop from hand sketches → 3D models → prototyping → mass production
5. **Technical documentation** — BOMs, manufacturing process docs, QC standards
## Requirements
- **3+ years** in hardware product / industrial design
- Familiar with 3D printing processes (HALS/SLA/SLS etc.)
- Proficient in at least one of Rhino / SolidWorks / Fusion 360
- Thermal / heat-management design experience (preferred)
- LED lighting / consumer electronics / tactical gear experience (bonus)
- Ideally located in Shenzhen/Hong Kong (for factory coordination)
## Engagement
- **Full-time or part-time**, remote-first
- Occasional travel to factories (Luzhou / Shenzhen / Henan, China)
- **$40-80/hour** or monthly equivalent (based on experience)
- Long-term engagement, 1-month trial period for mutual evaluation
